General (0)Well our first week in 2008 has went well. Our Christmas sales were strong and we are all getting ready for the spring shooting season. I am having some pictures put in our photo gallery of our company Christmas dinner if you want to check those out. Also, a reminder of our 4th Gamaliel Cup Sporting Clay shoot in Nashville, Tn. 12.22.07Merry Christmas
General (0)Well its almost here. We just finished our Christmas party with our employees last night, We all met at my mother and father's,(Garon and Faye's) for a fun night of fellowship. I am proud to say that we all are good friends as well as coworkers, and seem to enjoy each others company quite well. We had some good food handed out gifts and sang some Christmas carols while Faye played the piano.We are open today saturday 12/22/07 and will be open until 12:00 mon. 12/24. General (0)Happy tues. Just a few more shopping days left until the big day. We have been pretty busy here at Gamaliel trying to keep up with our local customers in our retail store as well as our mail order friends. We also were subjected to the flu like virus going around affecting several of us including myself, so we have been short handed for a couple of weeks now. General (0)Happy thursday, Its hard to believe another week has gone.. Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving, I know my family and I did, except the annual quail hunt my father Garon and my sons Grayson, and Gibson and myself go on each year was not too productive. My brother has set some land aside for wildlife so maybe in a year or two things will get better. Our deer contest winner was Shane Green with the 200lb buck and Tony Fox second with 188lb. Bucky Hammer got 1st place with a 123lb doe and Tony Fox 2nd with 100lb. ...

11.14.07Deer season at GSS
General (0)Our modern gun season opened this past Sat. Nov. 10th, and so far seems to be good. Each year Gamaliel Shooting Supply sponsors a deer contest for the largest buck and doe based on field dressed weight. Shane Green is leading the buck contest with a 200lb 10 point with Tony Fox second with a 188 lb. 9 point. Lance Moore is leading with a 116 lb doe. I also want to mention a young man that wasnt in the contest but 5 year old Trace Mcyntire (with the help of his dad) harvested a 206 lb 11 point. Needless to say he and his father ...

10.25.07Fall Clays Classic
General (0)We made it back from Sparta, IL this week with another successful shoot behind us. The 2007 Gamaliel Fall Clays Classic at the World Shooting and Recreational Complex went great! Our attendance was down some but the weather was perfect with the exception of the occasional 30 mph wind gust. A big congratulation to Curt Mauldin for being our HOA winner with an impressive 185 and to Wendell Cherry who came in 2nd and Jon Kruger rounding out the top 3. 10.12.07Winding Down
General (0)I will be winding down this year's shooting season at Sparta IL. Monday (10/15/07). We will be setting up for our Fall Clays Classic Sporting Clays Shoot which starts on Thursday. Looks like great weather for us as well. Garon will be going to Hog Heaven in White Pine TN. Fri the 19th taking any special orders you might need brought there. We will try and get some pictures posted so keep checking our website.

General (0)Fall is finally here in Gamaliel, Ky. and we are getting ready for our Fall Classic Sporting Clay shoot in Sparta Il. at the World Shooting and recreational Complex October 18th thru the 21st. General (0)Gamaliel Shooting Supply will have it's sales trailer at the Boy Scouts Fundraiser Shoot tomorrow, September 22. This event is a Sporting Clays shoot at the Tennessee Clay Target Complex in Nashville. We are also gearing up for our annual deer contest. The contest is open to local residents in Kentucky and Tennessee. Feel free to stop in and sign up. You could win one of several prizes.
