Hello friends and shooters. I wanted to give an update on on the last few weeks. We have been really busy here at Gamaliel Shooting Supply traveling to several different shoots around the south. We had a great time at the Tn. SCTP shoot where a lot of fine young men and women tolerated some very hot weather to finish their competition at the Montgomery County Shooting Complex near Clarksville Tn. This is a great new facility that will no doubt be a premier location for many big shoots for years to come. Congratulations to all the young shooters and parents for their continued support of this great event.

We also were open at the WSRC in Sparta Il. for the Briley Skeet shoot where our longtime employee Duane Hammer and his son Daniel worked, and Grayson and Jaime worked the Tn State Trap Shoot in Nashville Tn. While in Nashville we saw another wonderful group of young A.I.M. shooters also have to brave some wet and hot days to finish their competition. We had a good weekend of selling for Gamaliel Shooting Supply, and again I cant stress enough how proud we are to see the youth shooting sports so well supported and attended by such a fine group of individuals.

This past week June 23rd thru june 28th we were at the US Open Sporting Clay shoot at Elk Creek Hunt club and Winery in owenton, Ky. What a wonderful first class facility they have. We have been selling them their targets since they opened and were very proud to take care of their target and ammo needs for this shoot. There were over 1200 shooters I think, and somehow I got shooter number 1000 which was prety neat. Gibson and his girlfriend Tessa helped Grayson and Jaime and myself work all week, enduring some pretty hot and humid days as well as some afternoon thunder storms. I want to thank Chris, Gary, Curtis, and the all of the Elk Creek gang for going out of their way to make us feel welcome and being sure we were taken care of. Their hard work and hospitality made this shoot one of the best we have attended. I have posted a few pictures on our web site from the shoot and a few Team Gamaliel photos. Team Gamaliel consist of myself and Rhonda Barfield, Rick Archer, Leila Schmiesser, and Hunter Schmiesser. All of which are a big part of our Gamalie Cup Shoot in Nashville and we thought it would be fun to get some shirts made and shoot together at the US Open, and it was. Hamish Lusty from EZ Go shot with us also so we named the team Team Gamaliel and Hamish… since he didnt have a shirt.

I will try and write something in the next few weeks before we got to Sparta, Il for the SCTP Nationals and the Grand American 2009.

Thanks for checking in
